چکیده
Introduction: N4-acetylcytidine (ac4C) is a critical acetylation modification that has an essential function in protein translation and associated with number of human diseases. Methods: The process identifying ac4C sites by biological experiments too cumbersome costly. And the performance several existing computational models needs to be improved. Therefore, we propose new deep learning tool EMDL-ac4C predict sites, which uses simple one-hot encoding for unbalanced dataset using downsampled ensemble network extract important features identify sites. base learner this model consists modified DenseNet Squeeze-and-Excitation Networks. In addition, innovatively add convolutional residual structure parallel dense block achieve effect two-layer feature extraction. Results: average accuracy (Acc), mathews correlation coefficient (MCC), area under curve Area on ten independent testing sets are 80.84%, 61.77%, 87.94%, respectively. Discussion: Multiple experimental comparisons indicate outperforms predictors it greatly improved predictive At same time, could provide valuable reference next part study. source code data available at: https://github.com/13133989982/EMDLac4C .

JPEG Steganalysis Based on DenseNet
Current research has indicated that convolution neural networks (CNNs) can work well for steganalysis in the spatial domain. There are, however, fewer works based on CNN in the JPEG domain. In this paper, we have proposed a 32layer CNN architecture that is based on Dense Convolutional Network (DenseNet) for JPEG steganalysis. The proposed CNN architecture can reuse features by concatenating fea...
متن کاملThe RNA acetyltransferase driven by ATP hydrolysis synthesizes N4-acetylcytidine of tRNA anticodon
The wobble base of Escherichia coli elongator tRNA(Met) is modified to N(4)-acetylcytidine (ac(4)C), which is thought to ensure the precise recognition of the AUG codon by preventing misreading of near-cognate AUA codon. By employing genome-wide screen of uncharacterized genes in Escherichia coli ('ribonucleome analysis'), we found the ypfI gene, which we named tmcA (tRNA(Met) cytidine acetyltr...
متن کاملLog-DenseNet: How to Sparsify a DenseNet
Skip connections are increasingly utilized by deep neural networks to improve accuracy and cost-efficiency. In particular, the recent DenseNet is efficient in computation and parameters, and achieves state-of-the-art predictions by directly connecting each feature layer to all previous ones. However, DenseNet’s extreme connectivity pattern may hinder its scalability to high depths, and in appli...
متن کاملThe role of the minor base N4-acetylcytidine in the function of the Escherichia coli noninitiator methionine transfer RNA.
The noninitiator methionine-accepting tRNA (tRNAmMct) of Escherichia coli contains N4-acetylcytidine at the wobble position of its anticodon. We have studied the role of this modified base in the function of tRNAmMct in protein synthesis. The biological activity of sodium bisulfite-treated tRNA,Met, which contains unmodified cytidine in place of A@-acetylcytidine but is otherwise identical to t...
متن کاملRole of anticodon bases in aminoacylation of Escherichia coli methionine transfer RNAs.
Previous studies from this laboratory have shown that a cytidine to uridine base change at the wobble position of the anticodon of Escherichia cdi formylmethionine tRNA (C&j or at one of the cytidine residues of the 3’-terminal C-C-A sequence (C,,) results in loss of methionine acceptor activity. In this paper, we show that inactive tRNAfh”’ containing the C,, + U,, base change inhibits aminoac...
